It's off to work we go!

January 29, 2017

Alas our production of Snow White has come to an end.

We'd like to thank everyone for their dedication and hard work over the past few months to make this show possible.    An awful lot of time and effort goes into these productions each year to make it as entertaining as possible.  We'd also like to thank our supporters and loyal members for coming to see us.

Since all of our members are amateurs, the fun is now over for another year, so back it's to school and day jobs once again!

The John Raper Award

January 27, 2017

In April 2015 we lost a dear friend and talented and enthusiastic actor, John Raper. He took part in many OATs productions, John's comic timing and love of the stage entertained theatre-goers in Oundle for years. We greatly miss his passion and his presence.

In John's memory the OATs committee has set up the John Raper Award.

This will be presented to a member of the cast and crew after every production to recognise them for effort and supporting other members of the cast.

It was presented for the first time last night, by Johns wife Beata to.....

Time for an En-Chorus

October 5, 2016

We have found our Snow White and filled the principal roles for our January panto, but hope to add a few more chorus members to our cast.

We've scheduled an extra audition on

Monday (10th October) - 7.30pm at the Queen Victoria Hall in Oundle

Chorus: members need to be aged 10-100, happy to sing as part of a group - and to smile on stage! We won't require you to sing individually, and you don't have to be able to dance. This is a great way to get started in panto.

Dancers: please come in comfortable clothes and shoes: you will be asked to learn and perform a simple routine as part of a group.

The production will be in January 2017 - rehearsals start later this month and are usually on Monday and Friday evenings.
